integrated healthcare institutions that serve large urban market segments through the creation
and aggregation of hospital capacity and demand for healthcare.
We are a fast-growing organization and our portfolio is being built by a mix of brownfield and
greenfield strategies. We currently have within our portfolio as operating companies (OpCos),
Hospitals, a Health Insurer, A Diagnostics company and a HealthTech company.

The Role
The investments desk is responsible for generating and managing deal pipelines and all
expansion initiatives within the group. It is the responsibility of the investments desk to ensure
due diligence on all facts/figures that may influence investment decisions and secure Investment
approval.

Among other things, the Investments Desk Lead is expected to have strong corporate finance
skills, he/she must also possess exceptional research, financial modelling, presentation, analytical
and problem-solving skills. The Desk Lead must be a self-starter with a drive to excel and break
new grounds.

This role will interact with the Business Leaders and other Team Leads across the Group but will
report directly to the Head of the Strategy and Investments team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Corporate Finance & Investments
• Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions and evaluate opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Sourcing, screening, and evaluating investment opportunities in private companies to identify potential investments that align with the firm’s investment strategy.
• Lead due diligence efforts in support of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Negotiating and structuring investment deals, including terms/conditions, and valuation.
• Overseeing the implementation of the investment strategy, including monitoring financial performance and providing guidance and support to portfolio companies.
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including portfolio company management, co-investors, and limited partners.

Internal Processes
• Provide training, mentorship and leadership to pool of Analysts.
• Comply with administrative internal control processes and procedures and ensure similar compliance throughout the team.
• Assist with the development of business plans for the HoldCo, OpCos and projects as appropriate, including providing financial modelling and other support
• Prepare and/or support the preparation of internal reports on actual performance against business plans for respective Business Leaders
• Support the Business Units in the implementation of new initiatives.
• Provide research and co-ordination in preparations for Group presentations to key external parties, especially investors. This will include the preparation of regular investor updates.

Job Requirements
• 3-5 years of work experience in Finance and/or Strategy roles within a financial services company or a consulting outfit.
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in economics, business admin or a STEM discipline. Possession of an MBA or CFA Charter would be an advantage.
• Passing knowledge of the healthcare industry would also be an advantage.
